Pashupatinath Temple is considered as one of the holiest temples in Asia. It was built in the 5th century and renovated by the Malla Kings in the latter years. Pagoda styled temple with gilded roofs, four doors covered with silver and woods with finest quality and architecture. It is located at the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu and it covers both banks of the Bagmati river.
Boudha is one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal, located 8km away to the north-east side from the Kathmandu. It is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage site. It is built in the shape of a mandala and it is the centre of Tibetian Buddhism in Nepal.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is also known as "Khwopa" is popularly known for its temples with fine wood carvings and beautiful architectures during the Malla regime. Four distinct squares ( Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square) makes this place complete.

Day Drive to Nagarkot - Changunarayan for Sightseeing
It is time to drive to Bhaktapur. Visit the open museum of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, followed by sightseeing around the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath in Kathmandu.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an open museum filled with pieces of perfect architecture. An epitome of ancient architecture and ethnicity, Durbar Square is a living heritage. Countless temples, architectural showpieces and stone figures adorn the entire region. Major attractions are the Batsala Temple, 55 Windows Palace, golden gate, picture gallery, the statue of BhupatindraMalla, among many others.
Pashupatinath is a UNESCO World Heritage site and probably one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. Ornamented with pagoda houses, its focal point of attraction is the sacred linga of Lord Shiva. The temple is said to have existed prior to 400 A.D. The roaring Bagmati River, flows along it. Considered as a sacred river for the Hindus, Bagmati is filled with devotees dipping in its waters to purify them.
Another UNESCO World Heritage site and the focal point of attraction of Buddhist populations, called Boudhanath is our second destination. Called as Little Tibet, this stupa is one of the largest in South Asia. It looms thirty-six meters overhead and is located on the ancient trade route to China.
