The Helicopter tour to the Everest Base Camp is probably one of the most exciting tours in the world. This tour in Nepal takes you from your hotel in Kathmandu to the Mt. Everest Base Camp and back in just 5 hours. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to admire the beauty of the Mt. Everest from the very famous viewpoint and the highest point of Everest base camp trekking, Kala Patthar, in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Along with the Mt. Everest (8,848m), this tour will also allow you to enjoy the mesmerizing view of a series of glorious mountains – Gauri Shanker, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Shisha Pangma, Melung Tse, Jugal, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu and the astounding hills, rivers, glaciers, lakes, the settlement of Sherpa people and most part of the Khumbu region. You will also get a chance to have breakfast in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

Day Fly from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp
This day starts with embarking on one of the most scenic flights in Nepal, from Kathmandu to Lukla. Surrounded by majestic peaks, with the sun glistening over each of them, the flight is no less than a heavenly experience. The flight ends in a small airstrip in Lukla. And you cannot help but wonder about the expertise of the pilots, in landing the plane at the small airstrip. Approximately 35 minutes of flight.
A special day as we fly on a helicopter to the Everest Base Camp. View the surrounding mountain ranges like AmaDablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m), Lhotse (8501m), Nuptse (7859m), Kantega (6685m) before finally reaching the base camp. If lucky, we might get the chance to meet several people, moving up towards the Everest Expedition and many who might be returning back after scaling the highest peak in the world. The Everest Base Camp offers the extremely beautiful views of the Khumbu Ice Fall along with the panorama of several mountains of the region. With our minds amazed at the miraculous big blocks of ice, before us and the beautiful Nuptse towering above us, this moment is certainly a one to remember for a lifetime. Pumori rears up behind the Everest Base Camp.
Then we head towards the Kongde as our last stop which is the 30 mins flight and enjoy scintillating view from there and take some photos. After witnessing the spectacle surrounding this naturally beautiful location, it is time to fly back to Kathmandu. Approximately 2 hours of helicopter flight.
